Ms Ee Teng graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree from the University of London (External Programme) in 2015. There after, she completed the Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) Examination in 2016. In October 2022, she founded Koay Partnership.
She commenced her practice in a boutique firm in Penang and called to the bar in September 2017. She has been exposed to a variety area of laws in both litigation and corporate and conveyancing matters. Ee Teng has advised and acted as Counsel in a wide range of cases including corporate and commercial disputes, land disputes, tort, general debt recover, family disputes, tenancy disputes. She is also experienced in handling non-contentious advisory matters and acts as a legal advisor in several corporate companies.
In 2022, she was empaneled as an accredited mediator with the Malaysian International Mediation Centre. She is also one of the members of Advance Dispute Resolution Centre (ADRC).
Mr Chun Hian obtained his law degree from the University of London (External Programme) in 2018 and completed the Certificate of Legal Practice (CLP) examination in 2019. Thereafter, he was called to the bar in March 2021.
Chun Hian had been practising with a few established law firms in Kuala Lumpur prior to joining Koay Partnership. He has dealt with many aspects of litigation and other forms of dispute resolution. He has also acted as co-counsel in various trials and hearings before the Malaysian High Court and Appellate Courts.
